Laminate Flooring

Laminate Flooring is a very durable floor  and will last a long time if you take care of it
right. Laminates are a great choice for pets and a home with children and grand children.
Laminate does not scratch or dent like natural wood flooring does, it can take a lot of
traffic and things like toys rolled across it and also very heavy furniture like pianos and
hutches. Floor prep is the most critical part of installing laminate flooring.  Under all
laminate jobs we install an extra 6 mil plastic sheeting to add extra protection from
moisture, moisture is the number 1 cause of damage to wood and laminate floors.  To
take care of a laminate floor, buy a flat mop that has a terry cloth bonnet and cleaner
approved for laminate flooring. Wet the bonnet and squeeze most of the water out, spray
the cleaner lightly on the floor and mop. Rinse the bonnet out after each small room area.
